What do you do to whiten your teeth?

Princess ♥ asked:

I don’t really care about the “quick fix” stuff that’s highly expensive and bad for your teeths sensitivity, but I have been using ‘pepsodent’ or something for SEVERAL weeks, maybe months, and it’s supposed to whiten my teeth and I haven’t noticed anything!

I have bleaching trays… but I can’t find them.. haha.. and anyway my teeth are very sensitive and it hurts! It makes my enamel see-through almost.. I just want some really good toothpaste that strengthens them and stuff. What works?

Does sensitivity toothpaste reverse the effect of tooth whitening products?

missing9mins asked:

I am using Crest Whitestrips and my teeth are getting sensitive because of it. I picked up some generic sensodyne and am hoping it will help with the sensitivity. but do the ingredients of it cause my teeth whitening effects to be reversed/diminished? and will future whitening be reduced because of the sensodyne?

side note: are there any side effects to the sensodyne and how long does it take to be effective?

THANK YOU!!

What is the best toothpaste for me?

DK asked:

Okay so it’s almost time to get back to school, so I’m getting ready to do my annual whitening. I’m thinking of trying crest whitestrips premium plus this time (last year i used the premium kind). I was looking up the most effective whitening toothpaste, but had trouble coming to a census. Currently i’m using the sonicare electronic toothbrush, and Colgate total w/ whitening. I brush my teeth 1-2 times a day, and floss daily. I have a feeling that the whitening might cause sensitivity and maybe even weaken my enamel. What is the best toothpaste for me? I would prefer something that strengthens enamel and whitens teeth. thank you(:

Teeth whitening products?

☆ – -CINDY asked:

I used to have from the dentist whitening trays.
It helped somewhat, but my teeth were really dingy from having braces for 3 years ..
So I still have somewhat yellow teeth.
And the trays made my teeth sensitive to anything..
What can I use that will whiten my teeth and good for sensitivity?
I currently use crest scope whitening paste.
And I brush my teeth daily and nightly for 2and a half minutes or so.
And floss. :/
What am I doing wrong.

Healthy/ natural ways to whiten teeth?

L.a.u.r.e.L asked:

I’ve thought about those teeth whitening strips, but they have certain ingredients that can and will effect your gums and teeth sensitivity.
Right now I brush my teeth 1 – 2 times and day and use mouth wash every now and then. (since that also isn’t the best thing for you)
I don’t like soda or coffee, dont smoke. My teeth aren’t bad.. I was just wondering if there was some other healthy ways to whiten them.

Im 13 and just using crest whitening strips?

The bunny in your closet asked:

I just bought them. Their on right now. I have a fix retainer in my mouth (a bracket you cant see, glued to the back of my front teeth) when they make your teeth “sensitive.” what would that mean? my retainer is very expensive so I cant get it damaged! I also came back from the dentist and she recommended them. But what does the sensitivity feel like?
Im using floride rinse as well. Been using it for about…. less than a year?

Best teeth whitener you’ve ever used? ?

Melissa asked:

- Little or no sensitivity!
– No “spotting” plz (like bleach spots)
– Store bought
– Between $20-40
– 2 week treatment max

Just the gel or stuff you paint on or strips, whatever.

YES, I do brush my teeth with teeth whitening toothpaste twice a day. An electric Oral-B toothbrush, ok?

Thanks!

Is there a method of teeth whitening that doesn’t cause unbearable sensitivity?

beachgirl asked:

I have tried colgate and polar night time whitening products, but they cause such bad sensitivity that I have to go to bed early the next day to escape the pain. Is there an effective alternative without the pain?

Help with Teeth Whitening?

´d u mke m nmber 1 on ur playlst asked:

I used the Natural White 5 minute Tooth Whitening System like 3 months ago and I´ve been using the Listerine Whitening Mouthwash since then, 40 seconds twice a day, instead of 60 seconds cuz I´m prone to tooth sensitivity. Well, yesterday I saw at Walgreens the Luster 1 Hour White system Here´s the link: http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.jsp?id=prod3984813&CATID=100213&skuid=sku3983662&V=G&ec=frgl_537056&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=sku3983662 It even comes with a lamp like the one the dentist has , but since I am prone to sensitivity I dunno. I am asking if I have to wait more time before using the Luster system or what? I have really white teeth but I want like CELEBRITY WHITE TEETH and this system offers the same results as a professional whitening? Is this true? And it says it causes no sensitivity? If this is true I´m gonna go buy it. So gimme ur opinions, cuz I used like a year and a half ago this like syringes with 20% carbamide peroxide and it clearly stated to not use em more than 14 days and wait a year between reapplication, but the Natural White 5 minute system doesnt say anything?

Save me the speech: I want whiter teeth! But I don´t wanna suffer from unbearable pain lol
I´ve been using Arm & Hammer Advance White Sensitivity like 4ever and it says it´s a Fluoride Anti-Cavity Toothpaste, does this work just as Sensodine and the fluoride gel ?
