I used the Listerine whitening strips.
Sensitivity can occur, and it’s best to wait a while to eat or drink.
Plus drinking brown liquid is defeating the purpose of whitening! But soda is carbonated, so sensitivity mixed with the carbonated drink probably aggitated your teeth.
That’s never happened to me because I wait after I use the strips. Once I bit into a sandwhich about 5 minutes after the stips and it didn’t feel to good, so I wait now.
