Dentists: How long does tooth sensitivity after whitening last?

I used Arm & Hammer advanced white toothpaste last night and now my front two teeth are feeling sensitive. Will this go away?

    yes it goes away. usually after a few hours. whiten your teeth at nite before you sleep. that way by the time you wake up most of the sensitivity should be gone.

    I **** when that happens! Yes it will give it about 4 days.
