Does 35% carbamide peroxide teeth whitening really work?

I have got myself some 35% carbamide peroxide and some mouth trays from online. Its meant to be great teeth whitener.

Ive been instructed to wear it every other day for 5 mins and then increase to 10 if I dont get sensitivity.
Ive tried it once for 5 mins. It stinks your gums but once its off its fine.
Anyone used this and does it actually work? and if so how many 10 minute sessions will it take?

In answer to the trays not fitting my teeth – they fit perfectly as they were the sort you get soft in hot water and then mould to your teeth for a perfect mould.

35%carbamide peroxide is more than the recommended % of whitening agent.You continue using in 5 mts .you will get the result sooner.
I recommend not to use it more often since these agents can induce sensitivity which is even more worse to handle.

The problem with getting trays online is they don’t fit your teeth. That means the solution (which is very strong, BTW) is getting on your gums and being swallowed.
Try using a desensitizing toothpaste prior to wearing the trays. Brush and then leave the toothpaste on your teeth without rinsing.
It would be better to get the trays made by your dentist. Since you already have the solution, it won’t cost all that much.
