Does teeth whitening cause sensitivity?

GOD asked:


whenever i use teeth whitening products i gain extreme sensitivity to all food of any Temperature and hot and cold drinks. Is this normal?

    yes, because the bleech is breaking down the enamel
    i used to use whitening products all the time and thats what happend to me
    i stopped using them and the sensitivity went too

    yes it is normal i recently did bleaching and it kills my teeth the doctor recommended me toothpaste made for senstive teeth, it did actually give my teeth some comfort
