You need to go to the store and buy Sensodyne toothpaste before you continue your whitening. This will help out A LOT with the sensitivity. Brush with that for a few days and then start bleaching again. Also, you may try bleaching for a shorter time period or every other day. That should also help. If that doesn’t work, then you can try getting a weaker bleach from your dentist. However, most people have luck with the Sensodyne toothpaste.

First you all, you should not be using any whitening products that can be purchased over-the-counter b/c none of them are ADA approved…. if you are, then discontinue use and begin using a sensitive toothpaste….. your teeth will be fine in a week or so. If you are using a product from your dentist then contact your dentist as soon as possible to discuss the problem you are having with him or her.
