eric asked: I purchased some Plus white teeth whitening gel at my local drug store because although my teeth are white I wanted them to be sparkling and perfect… So then I put it on…And the first 3 days were fine… but today it was burning my gums and when I took a breathe in a sharp sensitivity that was strong gave me a sensitive pain in my tooth! And finally my gums were bleached but the came back to normal…. Is this normal?
I think it made some of my teeth more sensitive… and My gums are a little sore still…
Here are the ingredients of the product- WATER,POLOXAMER 407,GLYCERIN,HYDROGEN PEROXIDE,METHYL SALICATE,SODIUM SACCARIN,PHOSPHORIC ACID.

norcalgurl353 asked: Can I use the white strips more than two times a day? Will the process go faster? Because, I’ve used 2 sets so far, and my teeth haven’t experienced any sensitivity… would it be okay and would my teeth whiten faster if I use it more than twice a day?

McLovin’ asked: I have weak teeth that decay very easily and it’s getting me down.
I don’t eat unhealthily, I get the right kind of foods and I don’t eat much sugar or sweets but they still find ways to decay. I have thinning enamel, holes in two teeth, tartar starting on some and others are just getting chipped while some are developing sensitivity.
I’ve tried using whitening toothpastes, mouthwash, floss, getting lots of calcium but they still decay.
How can I help my teeth and send them in the right direction?

me is a BAMF. asked: I’ve been using them for almost a week now. Recently I’ve switched to doing them only once a day instead of two because my teeth are experiencing some sensitivity. I wear them for an hour long instead of 30 minutes. I have noticed my top teeth get whiter but I really see no difference with my bottom teeth.
Can anyone tell me why? Or what can I do about this?
I wear them twice a day cause thats what it says to do. I’m just following instructions lol

andromeda032 asked: My lower 4-6 teeth have significant receding. I have had severe crowding a couple years ago and after getting the teeth straightened out, that is when I noticed the gaps between the teeth and the “long teeth”. I have not had any sensitivity problems yet, but am worried about it. By the look of the teeth, it looks almost scary as how long the teeth are. For instance I was getting teeth whitening strips, and the height of the strip only covers a little over half of the length of the tooth.
Do you think insurance would cover it. If not what would be the cost roughly for the lower 4-6 teeth to have a gum graft. The rest of my gums are perfect and nowhere near close to be considered receding.

CJ asked: If not, what are some inexpensive choices that have been given the go by the ADA? Thanks for your help!
While you’re here, I have super sensitive teeth, and I can’t use Crest Whitestrips for more than 2-3 days without a lot of pain. I understand that whitening causes further teeth sensitivity, but what can I do to prevent or curb that pain?
