Also, talk to your dentist to be sure you aren't grinding your teeth at night. Home bleaching definitely causes sensitivity but it should be minimal and reversible if used correctly. If you're interested in whitening your teeth don't waste your money on Crest white strips or any other 'over the counter' treatments. Invest in home whitening trays made by your dentist. They can double as home flouride trays that can also help reduce or eliminate sensitivity in your teeth, especially if you are bleaching. Good luck!
