baking soda and peroxide are harmful to the gums, it can cause irritation. the best thing is to consult a dentist to able to choose the best, safe and effective teeth whitening system. he may recommend you a good teeth whitener that contains good quality ingredients that will not harm teeth and gums. some teeth whitening kits contain harmful ingredients that can cause gum problems.

You can use baking soda but don’t use peroxide. It will hurt your gums and and your mouth. Baking soda may make your gums bleed too. I would strongly suggest you to use whitening strips and not this home made recipes….

try baking soda..it works for me and im sure it would works to you too…!!! and after using baking soda as a toothpaste ,brush ur teeth with colgate toothpaste, it does help too… you wont regret it..promise ..just remember this: make it a habit.. you would see ur teeth soooooooo white..

no it doesn’t harm the teeth… i have a recommendation for you … there is a teeth whitening product which i used and it was fantastic… made my teeth whiter and they were noticed… they are Crest Whitening Strips… you place them on yoour teeth for ten days.. and your teeth will be white for a year… you can get them from the internet… or if they are available in your country… they work great..

Peroxide kills tissue.
Can you imagine using it everyday?
Your gums would look horrible!
Baking soda and sea salt works good.

I have heard strawberries whiten teeth….

THE MANY USES OF BAKING SODA

Far from being just a recipe ingredient, baking soda has many household uses that you may not have known about. From cooking to cleaning, baking soda has proven useful for numerous things. Keep an extra box in the cabinet and you may just find yourself wondering how you ever lived without it.

In case of grease fire while cooking, sprinkle baking soda on the flames to put them out. Water will only cause the fire to spread.

Make a paste of baking soda and water and apply it to the inside of your teacups and tea pots to remove stains.

Baking soda and vinegar can be used as an effective shower scrub to remove hard water stains, soap scum, and mildew.

To remove stains from countertops, make a paste of baking soda and water and let sit on the stain for several minutes. Use a sponge to gently rub the baking soda into the stain, then rinse.

Place a dish of baking soda in your refrigerator every two months to keep it smelling fresh. You can reuse this baking soda for cleaning purposes.

To open a clogged drain, pour ¼ cup baking soda into the drain and slowly wash it down with white vinegar. Follow with 2-3 pots of boiling water. Repeat if necessary.

Sprinkle a layer of baking soda in the bottom of your kitty’s litter pan to absorb odors.

To remove burned food from cookware, sprinkle baking soda in the bottom of the pan and moisten with water. Let it sit overnight before washing.

Baking soda may be used as a shampoo. Mix one tablespoon of baking soda in one to two cups of water until dissolved. Pour slowly over your scalp and massage gently into your hair as you would shampoo. Rinse with 2 cups water mixed with ¼ cup apple cider vinegar to condition. Rinse thoroughly.

Keep a box of baking soda in the trunk of your car in case of emergency if you have an electrical or oil fire under the hood.

Marble countertops can be cleaned with baking soda. Mix one tablespoon in a quart of warm water, wipe on, let sit a few minutes, then rinse.
