Tooth sensitivity?

I just got my teeth whitened at the dentists today. They are really starting to hurt. Does anyone have any suggestions for making this go away, or ideas on how long it could last?

    I’d have another word with your dentist – explain your problem and he should be able to reassure you everything is okay.

    After all – that’s what he’s paid for – hope this helped !

    There are toothpaste for sensitivity. Sensodyne is a pretty good brand that i use

    Your dentist should have warned you about sensitivity after whitening. This almost happens to everyone that gets their teeth whitened in a dental office. Use Sensodyne toothpaste for the next couple weeks to help fill back in your dentin. You can also use it as a topical paste before you go to bed. Just smear the toothpaste on lightly and go to bed. They will be sensitive for a couple weeks, but it will let up a little every day.
