Whitening Strips?

i just bought rembrandt (sp?) whitening strips and used them for the first time. i had them on for about 10 minutes and i suddenly got a jolt of pain in my lower left teeth. it said if any sensitivity occured to take them off, but the pain didn’t even last long enough for me to stand up. so i left them on. a few minutes later it happened again and once again went away within a second or so (the pain was on the same side). then a couple minutes later i felt a jolt of pain on my lower right side that again went away quickly but i decided to take them off.

i had no pain on my top teeth and once i took the strips off nothing has been wrong… i rinsed my mouth with water and brushed my teeth and felt no sensitivity
question is: is it ok to use them as long as there is no continuous pain or should i discontinue use completely?

discontinue…….
try a different brand…and if they hurt as well..get your teeth checked by a dentist…..it could be a cavity…or sensitive gums in that area…or a million other things…

I used crest but same difference. They make your teeth very sensitive but that’s normal it says right on the box. In my experience they didn’t work so all that was for nothing I got some whitening gel from my dentist & that worked great. Best of Luck!
